Windows and Doors Warranty

The products WindowsDoorsDirect supply carry a comprehensive guarantee, starting from the date of delivery, and providing goods have been paid in full.

In the unlikely event a problem occurs within the warranty period, please get in touch with details of the issue and the order number, and we will replace the faulty item free of charge.

Our product guarantees are listed below:

• Moveable parts: 1 year (handles, hinges, mechanisms, door barrels)

• Glass: 5 years (covers failed units, but not cracks or damage to glass)

• UPVC profile: 10 year colourfast

• Aluminium: 10 year colourfast

• Powder coating: 25 years. Proof that the paint has been maintained correctly will need to be provided (please refer to the maintenance section in downloads). Warranty will also be void should it be found the aluminium products are fitted to an area where marine spec paint is required. If you’re unsure if you need marine spec paint, please refer to our guide.

Warranty does not cover general wear and tear of products, improper installation, accidental damage, or misuse. Examples of fair wear and tear include;

• Scratched handles

• Scratched letterbox

• Damage to door barrel from key

• Broken key in lock

• Broken glass after fitting

Warranty claims must be reported in writing to [email protected] alongside photographic evidence and order number.

Guarantees are provided to the persons named on invoice and are non-transferable.

Items under warranty will be replaced but not installed.

Any replacement part supplied will be covered by original warranty period at point of sale and not from the date the replacement is received.

Guarantee only extends to products fitted within the UK.
